New year's resolutions are good, but have you ever thought of where you are heading? Life is an uncharted course of unknowns and impossibilities. But through God's Word and His Spirit we can think broader than one year; we gain clarity in understanding how God can use us in an eternal way. It's called vision: Where God's purpose and your passion meet.
Delight thyself also in the LORD and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Attributes of a God-Given Vision: 1. A tension between what is and what could be; 2. Affirmed & authenticated through patience; 3. God-sized and not me-sized.
1/3 WEEK 2: What to do in the meantime
Passage: Nehemiah 1:4-11
Waiting for God's will to come to fruition in your life can be difficult. The best thing to do is to exercise the perfecting work of patience and plan until the Lord brings all the puzzle pieces together.
What do we do in the meantime? 1. We connect with God; 2. Be ready ahead of time; 3. Implement without hesitation.
