Missionary Speaker:
This Sunday evening, June 7th, 2009, at 6 pm, we will be having Dr. Joseph Athyalil - Missionary to India. Dr. Athyalil is an associate of Dr Gunter's who will be traveling with him.
Bibles for China:
This is the last Sunday to make an offering for Bibles to China. There has been over $500 given. Our missionary to China, The (name withheld) family has informed us that they can buy one Bible for $2.50 over there. What an opportunity to help these new Chinese Christians!
Wednesday Offering For Almanza's:
A church in the area gave the Almanza's (our missionaries to Mexico) a car. They had been without one for some time. They walked everywhere he had to preach!
To get the car registered, all the paperwork etc, and ready for Mexico they needed $2000. Our total offerings Wednesday evening were $800 towards that goal! Praise the Lord and thanks to the people at Calvary!

Sofia Ryff Surgery
Please Pray for Sofia Ryff. She will be having surgery on her wrist at 9am Friday May 8th.
Arthalene's Surgery
Arthalene's surgery went well. It ended up being 3 hours long. Praise the Lord that everything went very well and she should be up and around in a couple of days. Please continue to pray for her healing! The LORD is GOOD!

MENS PRAYER MEETING FOR SATURDAY MAY 2ND HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Beth Ann went to the hospital last night and they are still waiting on the new little girl to be born. They are hoping that it wasn't a false alarm. So Dad (Brad) won't be able to head the breakfast up tomorrow. Please pray for Bethann and the new baby.
