Calvary Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church. We are traditional in our music and use the King James Version of the Bible exclusively for all of our ministries.

Calvary Baptist Academy has been in existence for over 26 years and is well established in our community. We have a very good name. Until the 2006-2007 school year we used the ACE curriculum and existed primarily for own church members and some other children in the community.

In 2006, because of the tremendous growth in our community and the vision of our church we voted to change the curriculum to ABEKA DVD, and add full time teachers to each class as they grew. This has transformed our school and has made it possible to reach our community for Christ in a way that hadn’t been done before. We started a Mother’s Day Out program that first year that exploded. The next year we added k-4 and k-5 classes that brought in many more quality students to our school. For the 2008-2009 school year we need another full time teacher for the first grade and we are asking God to supply the need.

We are looking for teachers that would agree whole heartedly with our Articles of Faith and would feel comfortable teaching in an environment of people sold out for the Lord. We are not changing our Biblical standards as we grow, and we believe that the Lord is blessing us because of that.

We are an old-fashioned church, preaching the old-fashioned Gospel and God has given us a loving church membership that is dedicated to the school as well as our church. Our people are excited about CBA and voted in January of this year, unanimously, to pursue a new building in the next couple of years as the Lord blesses the school ministry.

We use the ABEKA curriculum exclusively. We are looking for teachers that love the Lord, love children and have a goal of being the very best teacher that they can possibly be for the Lord. We are pursuing excellence in our school with a determination that we believe is from the Lord.
If you have the right College training (preferably ABEKA) and the right spiritual background (KJV, Traditional music, separated etc) and firmly believe that the Lord wants you to serve Him in a Christian School ministry that is centered on the Word of God, maybe the Lord will speak to your heart.
