In this article, Pastor Beatty outlines Calvary's vision for the future as given on Sunday February 18th 2007 in the AM & PM Services.

The following are some of the main points:

1. The first Phase of the Vision For Growth is transitioning our school program from the ACE Curriculum to the ABEKA Curriculum. That has already been implemented in the Mothers Day out program and in the k-4 and k-5 classes. We want to continue to expand that through 12th grade. The expansion of this curriculum (the video curriculum) to the rest of the school will cost about $6,000 for the curriculum change alone. We are praying that the Lord provides.

We have added the new Mothers Day out program, and a K-4 and K-5 program. They have used the ABEKA Curriculum since their inception. We have people already signing up their children for next year's classes, but we are going to need help, and some dedicated volunteers for this new year.

We are going to need strong, godly, Bible believing, separated, teachers to help us with this growth. Please pray with us that the Lord will send us the people that we need. We are determined, by God's grace to have a strong Biblically based, quality education.

2. Our Second Phase of the “Vision for Growth” is about to be implemented over the next several weeks. The databases are being completed right now. If you have received automated email from us lately about updating your information, that is why.

Our church will be divided up into divisions that will have designated, qualified staff overseeing each division. This will enable us to be much more aware of the needs, interests and prayer requests of each of our church people. Hit and miss doesn’t work with a growing church!

3. The Third Phase, is a brand new outreach ministry which is scheduled for implementation the first week of April of 2007. This new outreach will enable us to reach our community for Christ in a much more organized and determined way. We will need partners to help us with this new ministry. There will be further announcements in the next several weeks. We expect to see many souls saved! Again, hit and miss doesn’t work with a growing church.

4. The Fourth Phase begins when the Lord provides more of the right staff to help us “officially” get off the ground with a Bible centered liberal arts college right here in the middle of South Texas. We are going to be a church that happens to have a college, not a college that happens to have a church.

So many today are sliding away from the faith once delivered, and we are determined as a church to train young men and ladies of God to know what they believe, know why they believe what they believe and then to take that faith and knowledge of the Word into the world and articulate in a coherent, intelligent, and profitable way what the Lord commands us in His Word.

We want to train Pastors and Missionaries, Engineers, Business executives, Politicians, Musicians, Teachers, future college professors, and other professionals that will then go out from here and be effective in influencing our culture, and our world for Christ. However, we are in need of wise, dedicated, experienced staff to help us get it off the ground. We are praying that God will speak to hearts of like minded people and give them a Macedonian call to come over to the work here in New Braunfels.

Our goal is not only to have a campus here in the beautiful New Braunfels Texas Hill Country, but also to expand the College through web based education, so those already in the ministry or out of country, or those who can't come to the campus can still pursue a quality education, as Dr Harbaugh and his staff are already implementing right now at Calvary Bible Institute

We are determined to stand for the Word of God in this post-modern time that is creating lukewarm Christianity that stands for little and falls for everything.

But we need good, solid, Bible believing staff that live separated lives to help us get it off the ground. Please pray with us that the Lord will send the right people help us do a great work for the Lord!

5. The Fifth Phase just follows in logical order. As those students who have been trained to be servants of God graduate and are called to full time ministries, we want to have a part in sending them out and starting other Biblically solid churches and Missions endeavors around the world.

KEEP WATCHING WHAT THE LORD IS DOING. KEEP US IN PRAYER. PRAY ABOUT BEING A PART. BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING!!
