Dear Pastor Beatty and Calvary Baptist Church,

Great Britain is such a beautiful place, but I have found out all too soon that it is a very ugly place because of the heathenism of the people. That is the only word for it. They are a people that do not know God and and do not care to know God as their personal Savior. Please pray that the Lord would continue to give me wisdom in dealing with the people as I seek to win souls for Him.
I would like to say a very big thank you in the way that you helped provide for my trip from the love offering. It was a great blessing. I would also like to say thank you for the great privilege and honour afforded to me in allowing me to fill the pulpit for Pastor Beatty in his absence.
Please continue to pray that the Lord God would continue to work in the hearts of the people as we go out seeking to bring them to the Master. Please also pray for safety for myself and the other eleven students as we will be traveling a great deal while we try to minister and be a blessing to the Baptist Churches of the United Kingdom.
